Theres so much new music being released that its hard for even the most loyal fans to wade through the trash to find the gems. Thats why weve created #BumpThis a Friday series that features new songs, by and featuring Nigerians, that you absolutely need to hear.
Chike “Finders Keepers”
Thanks to his jaw-dropping audition, Chike became an instant favourite on the first season of The Voice Nigeria. While he might not have won the show, he certainly made a vital impression.
Now, after dropping a bunch of severely underrated singles, hes come through with his confident debut album, Boo of the Booless, which includes the fantastic Finders Keepers.
On the standout track, Chike is looking to inspire, singing about having faith that well all eventually find what we are looking for. Its a delightful feel-good song on an equally feel-good album.
